3 octobre 2001

The status quo is to be maintained at QNV (quantity of wine normally produced) of 105 hl/ha for wines and QNV of 6hl of pure alcohol per hectare for cognac. On the other hand, rectified concentrated must is now included in the QNV and the agronomic yield is reduced from 130 to 120 hl of pure alcohol which, in the eyes of some producers, represents a loss of earnings of 1,000 F/ha. The grape harvest begins today. 8 October has been set as the official deadline.
